Time to zoom in what the models hold firmly in their right hand walk strolling down the run way. It’s not a bottle of Gatorade but mouth watering bags stuffed with paper, bubble wrap and what not. Landing at prices of €600-1000 and beyond, the bags tend to be the most limited and bank account ruining pieces, but their beauty is rarely appreciating by looking at low resolution images. So feast your eyes on this collage of SS09 line-up for bags plus some delicates from AW08.

So many great bags - although I wouldn't be caught dead holding a couple of them (in my opinion most embelishments/patterns should be saved for women's bags, men's bags should remain clean and chic). The woven brown one is stunning.

In a tenuously related question, do you have a link to the website where you found that photograph of a boy holding a tan bag for your 'Gladiator Sandals' piece? I must have that bag! Please help!

I like Bikkembergs and all, but I really don't like that bag. I don't know if it's that outrageous tone of yellow or the round studs the bag is riddled with. I do however love the Bottega Veneta, Burberry Prorsum and Dolce & Gabbana bags. The Jil Sander bag(s) look like something I'd bring with me when I go camping (it may be a bit much for everyday use - I can just imagine getting tangled in public or accidentally hitting someone/breaking something with it), but I may pick it up when it and if it hits the store I work at next year. I'm really hoping my work's buyers decided to pick up some quantities of that Gucci bag at the top of the page. It's the kind of bag I've been looking for. It's more of a large handbag, but doesn't totally scream "murse" at the same time. Still looking for that perfect messenger bag to replace my CdGxFP one though.

deeyou: You're right some of them are quite feminin in their design like Burberry bags(bag nr10 and nr12)

My favorite ones are the first Gucci, the Bottega and the blue Etro bag.

charomega: That chicken yellow bag is not doing it for me either, looks like something you'd take with you to the beach. Further more the fabric is not looking very sophisticated at all.

I'm glad you like the Gucci bag too. I totally in love with it and will definitely be in the look for it when it hits Gucci here in London next month.

The Jill Sandler bags are not very practical at all, I mean what the heck can you fit in all those compartments. Looks like something to carry when visiting a zoo with different kinds of animal foods in each little compartment. But nonetheless they are very cool.
